It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is already here and another summer is officially over. For the past six years I have had the honor of serving on the Bridge of Lakefront Yacht Club. I worked my way up from my humble beginnings as Quartermaster to Rear Commodore then Vice Commodore and finally Commodore. Along the way I watched us grow from a handful of people grilling burgers under the pavilion to 92 members enjoying feasts in our wonderful club room. It has given me the great opportunity to meet many new people and forge some wonderful friendships. This experience I wouldn’t trade for anything. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and the current bridges 2 year terms are almost up. With that being said we will be holding nominations for positions until October 1st.
If you are interested in being nominated for a position please email me at Commodore@LakefrontYachtClub.
