Commodore Mullens presents our Burgee and accepts our welcome into I-LYA.       Lakefront Marina Boaters and LYC Members:   Happy Spring (I think!)  Welcome to the beginning of another great boating season on Lake Erie.  As LYC enters its third year there are many exciting things happening.  This coming Saturday (April 5th) our club will become official members of the Inter-Lakes Yachting Association (I-LYA).  This will offer opportunities for reciprocal dockage with and benefits from other clubs across Ohio, Michigan, and Ontario.    We will be kicking off the 2008 season with our April meeting on Friday the 25th at 8:30 pm in the community room.  Due to low attendance at the Saturday morning meetings we are going to try a different time this year.  This meeting will address the budget for the coming year as well as membership and additional information about events on the calendar.   Presently we only have a handful of members for this season; therefore, our available balance to plan events with is minimal.  As members join or renew we will have a better idea of what we can financially offer this summer.  Please sign up as soon as you can.   I look forward to working with Cory, Bill, Steve, Jen, Jeff, and Lisa to make this the best boating season for everyone.  Please let me know what we can do to make this a reality.  My email address is nmullens@cros.net and my cell phone number is 419-467-9953.   Noreen Mullens Commodore, LYC
