Lakefront Yacht Club St. Patty’s Party. The Yacht Club is holding its first St. Patrick’s Day celebration Saturday, March 14. The club will be open at noon. Cocktail hour will begin at 5 PM with dinner at 6 PM. It is a St. Patty’s celebration so I am sure green beer might be available all day. Dinner will be traditional Irish fare of corned beef, cabbage, and boiled vegetables. For those who think that is disgusting, the Yacht Club will also offer something more bland. The Valentine’s Day party had nearly 40 people despite the level 3 snow emergencies and all there had a great time. The food was delicious as usual. With temperatures rising and spring a week later, this celebration will be the perfect time to kick the winter blues. Call the marina office to reserve your spot. Dinner will cost $15 per person. You can send your money with the reservation to the marina office. Go Green.
Spring Launch. Guess what is right around the corner? We are a month from beginning spring launch, weather and ice permitting. We are taking launch requests on a first come, first served basis. We emailed out launch forms earlier. If you did not get one, or misplaced the one we sent, we can send you another. We need your signed form to get you signed up. If your boat needs work of any kind, get with us soon as the service department is pretty well booked already.
Dock and Rack Sign Up. We also need you sign up for your dock or rack space for 2015 if you have not yet done so. We have 20 or so new customers already. We reserve your space until April, then we will fill up whatever is available. This is especially true in the rack building which is nearly full. Please get with us and reserve your space as soon as you can. Remember you can pay monthly for your dock or rack, as well as adding storage to the mix and make 12 equal payments.
We are excited to get the boating season started. We hope gas prices stay low and winter goes away quickly. See you soon.
