Attendees – Bill Niceswanger, Wayne Martin, Doug Ricci, Dave Ogram, Kevin Asher, Diana Baise
Meeting was brought to order by Commodore Niceswanger.
Bridge Reports – Bill was very happy that we have had a successful July. There was a good turn out for the 4th of July feed and we even broke even on costs. Cigars Under the Stars was attended by about 15 hearty soles who enjoyed each other’s company and Kevin’s beer and cigars. There was a bit of rain but it did not dampen any spirits. Derby Day was spectacular. 65 people enjoyed pulled pork and mint juleps. There were 10 races with 10 horses running each race. 6 betting windows were set up to take wagers. After all the bills were paid the LYC made 562.25 profit. We will reschedule Derby Day for next Memorial Day.
Secretary Doug Ricci will be adding Treasurer to his job duties.
Membership and Finances – As of this meeting there are 88 paid memberships. Kevin said there are a couple more coming so we will break 90 this year. All membership cards are out but we do not have all e-mail addresses. If you have not given us your e-mail address please see Dave Ogram.
There is $4046.08 in the checking account and 968.55 in the savings account. There is one bill outstanding.
